Celebrate global events of Earth Day and Arbor Day by participating in an interactive program focusing on caring for nature. On the property, investigate how trees grow. Plant a seed from a tree at the Castle to take home. Inside Mac-A-Cheek, learn how ancient wood was preserved through petrification and witness intricate wooden walls and floors fashioned from trees growing at the site 150 years ago.
The event will last approximately ninety minutes and will end at 10:30 am.
